MagSafe

Why there is no MagSafe charging animation?

Apple MagSafe charging animation is a feature designed for Apple MagSafe products. Although this animation is found in third party MagSafe products, the animation may not approved by Apple to be used on these products. If a MagSafe charger that is not deisgned by Apple has this animation without MFi certication, the animation code has been tampered with. We do not include this animation in our products because we want to protect user privacy & mobile phone security in order to pay more attention to the actual needs of our customers.

Can my iPhone be charged using a Car Mount Pro with your case? Can I use another brand case?

Yes, the MagEZ Car Mount Pro can charge the MagEZ Case 2/Pro version for iPhone 13 and 14 series cases.

Typically, a MagSafe® case should work with our charger, but we cannot guarantee it as, as magnetic positions may vary, thus we strongly recommed using our compatible magnetic cases, with our chargers.

Why is the car mount charger charging slowly?

In general, wireless charging is slower than wired charging. The power of wireless charging is up to 10W in Samsung smartphones and up to 7.5W in iPhones.

You can opt to use a car charger adapter that supports 18W + power to support QC2.0/PD or above, and the car mount will reach that output power.

Is the MagEZ Car Mount Pro compatible with third-party phone cases?

Typically, it is compatible with MagSafe® phone cases. However, we cannot guarantee that all third-party MagSafe® cases will work with MagEZ Car Mount Pro.

What is difference between MagEZ 1.0 and MagEZ 2.0?

The MagEZ 1.0 was our first ecosystem, and compatible with older model iPhones, 12, 11, 10 etc. Our products that are part of the MagEZ 1.0 system include: Mount Qi, Mount Desktop, MagEZ Juice, MagEZ Mount, Card Sleeve 1.0 and iPhone 11, 12 series cases.

When Apple® developed their MagSafe® devices in 2020, we developed our higher level system, the MagEZ 2.0 system, to be compatible; products like MagEZ Car Mount Pro/Lite, Card Sleeve 2.0 & 3.0, iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 cases.

Warranty

What is the warranty period of my Case and PITAKA Wireless Chargers?

For cases, the warranty time is 2 months. For PITAKA Single Device and Multi-Device Wireless Chargers, the warrany time is 1 year. Please refer to https://www.ipitaka.com/pages/shipping-warranty to get more information.
