Glowing Principle: Lumintex™ Fiber
PITAKA cases are renowned for the use of aramid fiber, a material famed for its durability and lightness. However, aramid fiber doesn't naturally glow. Instead of using traditional glow-in-the-dark printing or LEDs, we developed a new luminous fiber, called Lumintex™. By integrating it with aramid fiber, we managed to create cases that can absorb light and emit a striking glow in the dark.
The key to Lumintex™ lies in its flexibility to be woven and its ability to capture photons and re-emit them at a lower wavelength, creating a subtle and captivating glow in the dark.
