I wasn’t completely confident when I ordered this PITAKA case. Dropping around $110 on something that has mixed reviews is always a gamble, especially when people mention durability issues and the case not sitting flush. The unboxing didn’t exactly calm the nerves either. The box wasn’t sealed, there were no stickers, and the overall packaging felt cheaper than what I expected for the price. It honestly felt a bit like an open-box purchase.Once I actually put it on the iPad Pro 11”, things improved. With a Paperlike screen protector, the case sat flush without any weird gaps or lifting. It’s extremely thin—shockingly light—and has that smooth, soft-touch feel that’s nice in the hand. You can immediately tell the material isn’t meant for heavy-duty protection, but the thinness is the whole point. All the ports are easy to access, which was a relief. My USB-C hub fits without any struggle, unlike my Logitech folio keyboard case where the cutout was so tight I basically had to remove the entire case just to plug anything in. The pattern on the PITAKA case is clean and aesthetically reminds me of carbon-fiber, and it keeps the iPad looking sleek and cool. The magnets are… fine. Nothing special. Not as strong as the bare iPad, and the Apple Pencil sits there, but you probably won’t trust it on a rough commute. Good enough for a desk, not great for a backpack adventure. Now, about the price. Was it worth $110? Not really. If you want just extra protection on the sides or in tablet mode or if there’s no other better quality options out there. At this range I’d expect full-body protection or at least something that doesn’t attract oils so easily. The Magic Keyboard is already a fingerprint magnet, and adding another surface that loves skin oils feels like a team-up nobody asked for. That said, the lightweight design and compatibility with the Magic Keyboard are genuinely nice. If I could improve one thing, it would be stronger magnets for the Apple Pencil area and full body protection a little more security would go a long way.If you’re buying this for slimness, compatibility, and the “second skin” feel, it does that job extremely well. If you want drop protection or full coverage, this isn’t the case for you. It’s a style-over-armor situation, and as long as you know that going in, you’ll likely be happy with it.overall I am glad it fit well and it seem to havent the best rating compare to other cases that had more complains about fitting flush.
